3. Renewable and Sustainable: Coconut coir is a byproduct of the coconut industry, making it an eco-friendly choice. Plus, both coconut coir and perlite can be reused, reducing waste.

4. pH Neutral: Both coconut coir and perlite are pH neutral, which means they won’t mess with our nutrient solution’s pH levels. This helps maintain a stable growing environment for our plants.

Why Not Living Soil?

Living soil has its own benefits, no doubt. It’s all-natural and supports a diverse ecosystem of beneficial microorganisms. But for us, the controlled environment of hydroponics and the reliability of coconut coir and perlite make for a winning combo. Here’s why we prefer hydro over living soil:

1. Consistency: Hydroponics provides a consistent environment for plant growth. There are fewer variables compared to soil, where nutrient levels and pH can fluctuate more.

2. Precision: With hydroponics, we can measure and control every aspect of the plant’s environment, leading to higher-quality buds.

3. Space Efficiency: Hydroponic setups can be more compact and are often better suited for indoor growing, where space can be at a premium.

4. Speed: As mentioned earlier, hydroponic systems can speed up the growing process. This means more harvests in less time, which is a big plus if you’re excited to enjoy our harvests sooner. 

Hydroponic cannabis cultivation with coconut coir and perlite is like the fast lane of growing: quick, efficient, and incredibly rewarding. While living soil has its charm and benefits, we find the control, cleanliness, and speed of hydroponics with coconut coir and perlite just too good to pass up.  We feel this is the best option for our farm and we hope you will enjoy the consistency and lower overhead costs which get passed down to folks at the register.
